Known Issues in interiorcad 2026 F5

Improvements

  • Box objects can now be placed, mirrored, and aligned on outside surfaces.
  • Viewer mode can now be used as an integrated preview for interiorcad.

Fixes

  • When inserting box objects from libraries, interiorcad now shows which symbols are missing and which ones can be imported.
  • Custom fitting and grid options are now applied correctly for doors as well.
  • Top and bottom boards now account for back parts correctly and no longer collide with them.
  • Edges on mirrored rectangular parts are now assigned correctly.
  • Flush backs now account for neighboring parts and no longer create collisions.
  • Only one drawer is now created per box.

Improvements / Fixes NC-Export / Cuttinglist-Export

  • The default FilenameAndPathFilter Dictionary.json has been revised and now also includes language-dependent labels.
  • Cuttinglist-Export in general
    • In SchellingHPO, the length of the custom text format lines (F 10-29) can now be defined in the cutting list configuration.
  • NC-Export in general
    • The Maestro CNC export can now override the workpiece count.

Vectorworks Package Manager (download libraries)

  • Update
    • For Lamello Clamex NC-Hops, the rotation angle was adjusted for Holz-Her Evolution and redundant NC data was removed.
    • For handle pull recesses, the NC macro name “Eraser” was removed for unnamed macros.
    • For the Häfele Blum Tandembox antaro, the rear panel bracket and the front fixing were corrected.
    • The Häfele ventilation grilles were improved; the sets were rebuilt with rotation applied to the outer face.
    • The pocket depths for Lamello P-10 connectors were adjusted for Maestro CNC and Lab.

Integrated - included with the service pack

  • Update
    • For Lamello Clamex NC-Hops, the rotation angle was adjusted for Holz-Her Evolution and redundant NC data was removed.

  • Dado insets of integrated wooden drawers were not exported properly
  • Newly created door of a non-rectangular cabinet was not visualized properly in preview
  • Moving an integrated wooden drawer along the y-axis was not updating the drawer length accordingly
  • Profiles applied to horizontal blind fronts were not oriented correctly
  • Tool icons in workspaces appeared out of focus
  • Changing the name of Custom Part 3D via Object info palette took a long time, especially in complex documents
  • Option "With Boxobjects" was not functional when saving a set

  • Substantially improved options to design backs for angled cabinets (view from right)

Improved material type "solid"

Materials of type "solid" can now be assigned edges and coverings.

interiorcad Viewer

The Vectorworks Viewer can be enhanced with interiorcad functionality in order to allow the inspection of complex interiorcad object settings e.g. Custom Part, Plinth, Drawer or Cabinet.

Box objects on point of use

Box objects can now be configured right next to the integrated fittings of the cabinet.

Plinth Cabinet / Plinth 3D

  • An addition plinth frame can be defined
  • The configuration of plinth part dimensions and location was improved
  • Plinth 3D now features material sets (for both plinth and plinth frame)

Improvements / Fixes NC-Export / Cuttinglist-Export

Custom Export

  • Output format names are now identical to their original counterparts plus (Custom)
  • Adding an empty replacement table is now prevented

Cutting list exports

  • productionManager
    • Hierarchy level reduced to Position_Cabinet - Parts
    • Relative path for NC program names adapted for folder structure on machines
    • Article number and description swapped
    • Article group added
    • The fields article description, group, and number can be adjusted in the production settings

NC-Exports

Release Notes interiorcad 2026 F1

The feature set of interiorcad 2026 F1 is equivalent to interiorcad 2025 F7 (with the only difference being based on Vectorworks 2026, of course). New interiorcad features will be released with interiorcad 2026 F2 and subsequent updates.
